We never really experienced a real winter this year, which was great, but it was missing a few things like Molasses: molasses cookies and molasses bread. There is nothing that warms me on a cold day quite like my grandma’s molasses bread (recipe coming never because it’s a secret and you’ll have to visit me or her to try some). A close second is carrot, ginger, cashew soup. And a good pairing with said soup, are these molasses cookies.
They’re soft in the center with slightly crisp edges. They carry a bit of spice with the ginger to further warm you
